NEXT STEPS?

A lens solution is made up of three sections. Firstly, you need to find out what your visual needs are. Based on this and your lifestyle, your optician will be able to recommend the best visual solution, either a single vision lens design (Eyezen) or a varifocal lens design (Varilux).

ENHANCE CLARITY

Go beyond your correction and shield your eyes from reflections, smudges and scratches for picture-perfect clarity. Benefit from the clarity of vision with a Crizal lens enhancement. Crizal lens coatings ensure your lenses shield your eyes from reflections, protect your lenses from scratches, smudges, dust, and water, and protect your eyes from UV and can even filter harmful Blue-Violet light. Choose a lens enhancement for your everyday needs; Crizal Easy UV, Crizal Sapphire UV, or Crizal Prevencia depending on your needs, enhanced lens aesthetics or superior eye health protection, or Crizal Drive to enhance your driving lenses.

ESSILOR CRIZAL EASY UV

Crizal Easy UV ensures your lenses stay clear and are easy to clean, making them easier to see through.

As well as increasing durability, some features of Crizal Easy include:

Anti-Reflective Coating: Helping to reduce glare and reflections on the lens surface, combating eye strain from your TV, computer screen, and smartphone.

Smudge Resistance: Making them easier to clean and repelling fingerprints, dust, and dirt for better visibility.

Scratch Resistance: Helping protect the lens surface from everyday wear and tear, reducing the likelihood of scratches.

UV Protection: Blocking harmful ultraviolet rays and safeguarding the eyes from potential damage caused by UV radiation.

CRIZAL SAPPHIRE UV

The main differences between Crizal Sapphire and Crizal Easy lie in their level of performance and the range of features they offer.

Some notable differences between the two are listed below:

Clarity and Visual Performance: The advanced coating technology in Crizal Sapphire minimises reflections to a greater extent, optimising light transmission for sharper and more precise vision.
Scratch Resistance: The scratch resistance of Crizal Sapphire lenses is typically higher than that of Crizal Easy lenses.
Smudge Resistance: The smudge resistance of Crizal Sapphire is slightly superior to that of Crizal Easy lenses.

The cost of Crizal Sapphire lenses reflects the enhanced visual experience and additional benefits.

CRIZAL PREVENCIA

When choosing between Crizal Prevencia and Crizal Sapphire, you must consider your specific needs, such as the extent of blue light exposure and the level of visual performance desired. The key differences are listed below.

Blue Light Protection: The most notable benefit of Crizal Prevencia is that it offers specialised protection against harmful blue-violet light projection. This protection helps reduce potential long-term damage caused by prolonged exposure to blue light from digital screens and sunlight.

Crizal Prevencia blocks UV rays from passing through the front of the lens and prevents UV rays from reflecting off of the back of your lens into your eye, resulting in an E-SPF rating of 35, the highest E-SPF index on a clear lens for optimal UV protection.

Reflection Reduction: Both Prevencia and Sapphire lenses have anti-reflective properties, but Prevencia targets reflections from digital devices and artificial light sources.

Clarity and Visual Performance: While Crizal Prevencia offers blue light protection, it may not provide the same level of visual performance as Crizal Sapphire.

Scratch Resistance and Smudge Resistance: Both lenses feature scratch and smudge resistance - the level is likely to be comparable between both options.

By adding Crizal Prevencia to your prescription lenses, you are also making your glasses water-repellent. This added feature repels water droplets so your lenses stay clear. At the same time, this coating includes glare reduction, minimising reflections, and providing you with total clarity of vision and improved aesthetics.
