Round havana & gold frames in a 51mm lens width, introduced in Cartier's Spring/Summer 2021 collection as part of the Blue & Beyond concept. These are part of the signature C De Cartier collection, the perfect illustration of how Cartier interprets expertise in the most modern way. A modern round shape is enriched by the iconic combination of the classic Godron motif at the temples, and the C de Cartier as both an aesthetically pleasing and functional element of the nose-bridge. The gold-plated titanium frame is also enriched by a slim brown havana enamelled Windsor rim surrounding both lenses. The classically elegant Cartier logo is engraved on both temples, and the double C Decor signature can be found on the nose-pads.

Cartier Blue & Beyond glasses combine both a photochromic lens and a blue light coating to create an unrivalled visual experience.

Photochromic is a type of optical lens which darkens on exposure to light changing. In a normal to dark, or indoor environment your lenses will remain clear with a very light transparent blue tint; when worn outside, as your surroundings get brighter your lenses will darken to a deep blue as they're activated by the sun's ultraviolet radiation.

The blue light coating on your lenses will protect your eye from the blue light that passes through the cornea and lens and reaches the retina, which is believed to affect the light-sensitive cells in the retina; this can cause poor sleep quality, migraines and eye strain. Sunlight is the number one source of blue light making these glasses the perfect on-the-go design.

Cartier is widely recognised as one of the most prestigious jewellery brands in the world, founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier after he had taken over his master’s workshop amidst the French revolution. With the rise of the Second Empire, Cartier’s business grew over a decade, with the opening of the first Cartier boutique in 1859. The House of Cartier has established itself as a brand of true luxury, quality and prestige. With the brand’s rich history and timeless work, it has served as the crown jeweller to 19 royal houses and an abundance of celebrities. Cartier eventually transferred it’s family ownership in 1972 however it never relinquished it’s brand commitment to excellence, upholding their reputation as the ‘jeweller of kings’ with each and every release. In particular, Cartier Glasses has forged ahead into the eyewear market due to the brand's impressive range of frame shapes and designs which render them instantly recognisable.
