Chloe Silver Cat Eye Sunglasses
THE GEMMA COLLECTION
Silver oversized cat eye frames, introduced in Chloe's Spring/Summer 2021 collection. These are part of the Gemma collection, a sophisticated new geometric concept. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of traditional stained glass, frames from the Gemma family evoke the iconic play of colour and layering intrinsic to the Chloe accessories brand. The blue base colour of the lenses is surrounded by blue and grey-toned plastic inserts to create a soft play of light and colour, securely held in a graceful sculptural metal frame. The classically elegant Chloe logo is featured as an understated laser etching on the left temple, while both temple tips feature the signature teardrop cutout, providing both aesthetic appeal, and the option to attach Chloe eyewear jewellery.
The Maison Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne who wanted to liberate women’s bodies from the stiffly formal fashion of the time through a luxury ready-to-wear offering. Since its inception, the Maison has entrusted a succession of emerging talents to support and carry on Chloé’s mission: Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon, Natacha Ramsay-Levi, and now, Gabriela Hearst.
