REVIEWS

Best constructed glasses I have ever owned and the prescription is perfect and the quality of the lens is amazing.

In terms of the display / features I think only time will tell. Im enjoying getting the notifications and not having to reach for the phone. The AI, can only tell once I have used it to cheat at pub quizzes!

These glasses are phenomenal and definitely worth their price. I believe the unlimited pro translation feature is a great feature, especially if you travel frequently.

However, I’m curious about how you’ll translate back to the other speaker if you use this feature in conversation.

In my opinion, phone translation remains a universally useful tool. I recently visited Japan and found communication with locals using my phone app quite easy. I believe the glasses translation will be more useful in places where English or your native language announcements are not widely available, such as public transport.

Conversationally, it’s a bit challenging to envision how the glasses translation feature will work. However, I still find it useful depending on the specific use case.

I currently own the Xreal Air and Xreal Air 2, which were released when they were relatively unknown and less bulky. However, even though they were under the radar, some people still gave me strange looks because they were quite large.

The G1 glasses strike a perfect balance between functional technology and a stylish pair of glasses that can easily pass as regular glasses. I’ve shared the glasses with many friends, and everyone has been impressed so far.

The cost for me was $750, which included the prescription lens.

A high-quality pair of lenses with multiple coatings can already cost $500 without even considering the cost of the frame. Therefore, the cost of the G1 glasses is justified given their capabilities.
