Balenciaga F/W 2020
Once again, Balenciaga is pioneering innovative designs with dramatic silhouettes, distinctive details and impressive manufacturing throughout their Fall-Winter 20 campaign.
We covered the DYNASTY and CUT collections in our S/S20 Blog, for F/W we are going to focus on LIGHT, TAG and BLOW.
The BB0111S 001 are black cat-eye frames, featured in Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter campaign. These are part of the Light line which comprises of sunglasses that are not only rimless and set with extra-slim metal arms, but also completely empty, looped, end tips. This contemporary design only adds enough weight to keep the frame on your face while you’re wearing them. This ingenious sunglass frame is then concluded with Balenciaga’s BB logo, hiding the two folding hinges on either side of the lense.
The TAG Line is named after a rubberized logo bar on each thin metal arm. The sunglass frames are inspired by anti-theft tags often strung into precious Balenciaga store items. Each frame is designed around the classic aviator shape, Balenciaga of-course add their own twist warping the shape slightly to create a unique and daring design using dark ruthenium metal and grey lenses.
