Ah, December… fuelled by “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” lingering in the ears (we bet you’re humming it already), the festivities unfold from the close of Thanksgiving (did you join us for Black Friday and Cyber Week?) all the way to Christmas and New Year, bringing warmth no matter how far the temperature drops.

In the celebrity calendar, December is spelled G-A-L-A. With countless honouring ceremonies, charity balls and cultural celebrations squeezed into the final weeks of the year, it’s a joy for us to follow the fashion, the glamour and, of course, the eyewear. The month opened with The Fashion Awards in London, closely followed by Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2026 show in New York City, and we invite you to read each of our coverages. Now, let’s jump right in.

Week 1

On 3 December, the Jonas Brothers were honoured with their Hand and Footprint Ceremony at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, marking a milestone moment in their two-decade career.

Week 3

Joe Keery landed his favourite shades of the season in black Gucci GG2011S 001, marking the second time he’s been spotted in the model while arriving at the Good Morning America studios in New York City.

French actress and comedian Bérengère Krief attended The Original+ Paris photocall wearing tortoiseshell Matsuda M2050 TOT-BS round optical glasses.

Snoop Dogg was spotted at the 12th Annual TDE Christmas Concert and Toy Drive wearing black Versace 4391 GB1/87 sunglasses.
