Jason and Karen Kirk come from a family with a rich history of pioneering optics. Their grandfather and great-uncle, Sidney and Percy Kirk, founded Kirk Brothers in 1919 after converting an old sewing machine into a lens cutter. The family-owned business quickly gained a reputation for innovative frame designs and business practices, such as introducing the first adjustable nose pads and delivering frames by motorbike courier. Today, Jason and Karen Kirk continue to build on the family legacy with Kirk & Kirk, creating innovative and adventurous eyewear.

Kirk & Kirk Glasses

Kirk & Kirk is a brand committed to its core values, reflected in the way they design and construct glasses. Karen Kirk is inspired by the endless sculptural possibilities of bespoke materials as she hand designs each frame with great attention to detail, drawing inspiration from jewellery and mid-century glass. The brand has developed its acrylic that offers a unique colour palette, allowing them to create lightweight and comfortable frames that won't lose adjustment or stretch over time. The frames also feature German five-barrelled hinges and integral nose pads for strength and comfort. Kirk & Kirk glasses are constructed in one factory in France, remaining true to the brand's roots and crafting modern ideas using authentic, traditional methods.
