Roberto Vedovotto, CEO of Kering Eyewear, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Maui Jim and Oracle Red Bull Racing will work together to open new horizons of creativity, technology, and excellence on and off the track.”

As part of this initiative, Maui Jim eyewear will be worn by Oracle Red Bull Racing’s drivers, pit crew, and support staff. Most notably, the team will utilize Maui Jim’s state-of-the-art PolarizedPlus2 lenses, known for their advanced glare reduction, UV protection, and enhanced color vibrancy. This ensures that every team member can perform at their peak, whether on the track or behind the scenes.

According to Vedovotto, the decision to collaborate with Oracle Red Bull Racing was a natural fit. “We are inspired by the same values of ‘drive to innovation’ and ‘quest for excellence,’” he explained. “With Formula 1 being an established global platform and the most popular sporting series in the world, Maui Jim will have the opportunity to connect with a vast audience of sports fans and lifestyle enthusiasts.”

This collaboration is the latest milestone for Maui Jim since its acquisition by Kering Eyewear in 2022. Over the past year, the brand has strengthened its presence in the fashion and sports industries, tapping Gossip Girl actor Evan Mock for its Spring 2024 campaign and signing renowned golfer Lydia Ko as an ambassador.
