The SAG Awards Are Now The Actor Awards: The Best Celebrity Eyewear

The 32nd edition of the ceremony formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards — now rebranded as The Actor Awards — celebrates the finest achievements in film and television for 2025. Held on 1 March 2026 at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the event continues its partnership with Netflix, streaming live for the third consecutive year. Hosted once again by Kristen Bell, her third time at the helm following 2018 and 2025, the evening marked a symbolic refresh. The new name, The Actor Awards, reinforces the ethos of “from actors, for actors”, signalling a streamlined identity for one of Hollywood’s most respected peer-voted honours.

Among the night’s winners, Noah Wyle claimed Male Actor in a Drama Series for The Pitt, while Owen Cooper received Outstanding Performance for Adolescence in the Television Movie or Limited Series category. Jessie Buckley took home Female Actor in a Leading Role for Hamnet; momentum that may well carry into the Oscars conversation. The auditorium erupted for Michael B. Jordan, whose Sinners secured both Male Actor in a Leading Role and Cast in a Motion Picture, the latter regarded as the evening’s ultimate accolade. It is also worth mentioning that Harrison Ford took home the Life Achievement Award.

The red carpet proved more flamboyant than other awards ceremonies this season. Male actors embraced colourful velvet tailoring, while leading ladies shimmered in high-shine fabrics, sculptural volumes, and rich textures. Naturally, we turned our attention to the eyewear spotted both on arrival and throughout the ceremony.

Seth Rogen, who won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for The Studio, wore tortoiseshell Persol 3160V 108 opticals — a colourway that has been discontinued. You can still pre-order the style in black or beige by contacting our team.

Amy Madigan, who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her role as Aunt Gladys in Weapons, kept her suiting choice consistent throughout this awards season, pairing it with Dita Lineus DTX 702 01 opticals, proving the brand’s timeless charm.

She also wore black and silver Garrett Leight Wilson 4003 BK-PW/SFPG15 sunglasses with dark green lenses for her red carpet arrival,

Teyana Taylor, nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for One Battle After Another, wore chalk grey Ray-Ban Meta Skyler Gen 2 RW4014 6700/MF Photochromic Smart Glasses.

Miles Caton wore silver and brown wood Cartier Première CT0377O 002 optical glasses both on the red carpet and onstage, delivering a presence as strong as his performance in Sinners. Truly lighting up the evening.

Connor Storrie, who presented one of the award categories, stepped in wearing never-before-seen Saint Laurent wraparound sunglasses. We're certain they’ll appear at the upcoming Paris Fashion Week show!

Tyler, the Creator continues to love his transparent Cazal Legends 607 065, having been seen wearing this style during the NBA season in both December and February.

Filmmaker Ryan Coogler, director of Sinners, wore black Matsuda M1038 BLK-G optical glasses.

Known for his roles in prestige dramas and streaming series, Bradley Whitford attended The 32nd Actor Awards in black Tom Ford TF5977-B 002 opticals with Blue Control lenses.

Sean Astin, actor and SAG-AFTRA board member, wore black Ray-Ban RX6285 rectangular opticals, available for pre-order by contacting our team. We currently stock the style in gunmetal.

Comedian Megan Stalter, who was also presenting an award, wore grailed Versace VE2129 shield sunglasses with Medusa logo and stud details.

Charlie Hunnam, nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for Monster: The Ed Gein Story, wore black Jacques Marie Mage Devaux sunglasses.

You can shop a similar style with Bottega Veneta BV1441S 001, brand-new from our Spring 2026 drop.

Tyler James Williams, part of the cast of Abbott Elementary, which won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, wore Jacques Marie Mage Eichler frames.

If this is the new chapter for what was once the SAG Awards, consider us seated front row... watching not only who wins, but what they wear while doing so. Because in Hollywood, the right pair of glasses doesn’t just complete a look. It frames the moment.

Au Revoir,
PRET A VOIR
