The Pomellato brand began in 1967 with the ambition of introducing prêt-à-porter jewellery. Instead of the traditional idea that jewellery is a status symbol, Pomellato introduced their fine jewellery pieces as accessories to be worn at all occasions. By the 1990s, Pomellato had established itself as strong brand, recognisable at the time for their use of 'coloured stones' and chains. By 2007, Pomellato was celebrating its 40th year, and decided to debut a high-end jewellery collection named 'Pom Pom' which comprised of 40 pieces which were sold by appointment only in New York, Paris, Milan and Monte Carlo.
Combining and contrasting this history, Pomellato eyewear works in the same colourful hues and precious stones that reflects the iconic, colourful and unconventional history of Pomellato. Each pair of Pomellato sunglasses reinterpret luxury with unique shapes and artisanal precision.
