Porsche Design 8478 sunglasses are the first sunglasses in the world with an interchangeable lens mechanism. Each pair of 8478s are carefully crafted using lightweight titanium paired with scratch and impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses offering 100% UV Protection. The 8478 Porsche frames one of the most innovative and recognisable aviator designs on the market.
The Gold Edit sunglass is a PRET A VOIR exclusive edition of P8478 which is super lightweight and comfortable offering unrivalled performance that is synonymous with Porsche. The Limited Edition 'Gold Edit' Porsche 8478 features a lustrous gold-coated titanium frame which is equal parts extravagant yet sophisticated. It also comes with 3 sets of lenses: Grey with Gold Flash (V209), Brown (V604), and Light Blue with Light Mirror (V649).
This frame is a re-release by Porsche Design of the original 'Exclusive' and is known as part of their 'Heritage' collection. Constructed in Japan from lightweight titanium each pair of Porsche Design eyewear boasts teardrop-shaped lenses which can be quickly and easily exchanged using the flip lock at the bridge of the nose to adapt to different light conditions. The Gold Edit sunglasses come with three sets of lenses; Grey With Gold Flash Lenses, Brown Lenses and Light Blue With Silver Mirrored Lenses, perfect for any occasion.
