The 139th edition of Wimbledon Tennis Championships is underway, returning to the immaculate All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club from 29 June to 12 July.

This year's tournament has already delivered its share of headlines before a ball was even struck. Tennis icon Serena Williams made a much-anticipated return to the singles draw on a wildcard at the age of 44, while men's world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz misses the Championships through a lingering wrist injury. British hopes also suffered an early blow, with both Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper forced to withdraw ahead of their opening matches.
